Generex Oral-lyn found to be safe in study

Generex Biotechnology (GNBT) has announced that a study finds Oral-lyn to be safe, effective and may reduce complications of insulin dependent diabetes. Cell Therapeutics

I have been following Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) since the beginning of 2009. When I first posted them as a buy they were in the 30 cent range and they had gone as high as $1.85. When they got to the $1.40 range I expressed my concern about holding them as a recommendation to sell and they shortly went into the 90 cent range. Now they are holding around $1 but I would watch out for them in the next couple of months as Pixantrone is up for approval decision in April and this could bring in a nice profit. I cannot guarantee a profit with any stock and I cannot guarantee that Pixantrone will be approved however I do not see any reason that it will not be approved. I believe that Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) has hit their low.

CHCI posts profit

Comstock Home Building Companies (CHCI) is a company to keep an eye. They returned to profit in their 3rd quarter and they already went up 30% after the news. Keep an eye on this stock for tomorrow morning and for time to come.
I do not guarantee a profit from any stock but I do think this is a stock to look into.

Keep an eye on Generex Biotechnology (GNBT). I have talked about them in the past but I think they are at their bottom now and they have a great pipeline of products. I am not positive but I think there will be some good news in the near future. Lately the only news they have had has been good. I am holding long position on these guys.

I am keeping an eye on Hythiam (HYTM) still as well. I currently do not own them but they have a great potential with their PROMETA program and their contract with Ford. They have been going down lately however this is probably their bottom. They have a couple of possible contracts to be made, though I cannot say they will get these contracts but with Ford on board I am sure they will get more contracts soon. They have not released any news for a while and I think they will start having good news again soon. I would keep an eye out on these two stocks.
It has been a crazy market lately and these are the two that I think are worth looking into. I haven't had other stocks really stand out to me lately, at least not small cap stocks.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals reverse split

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (PPHM) has announced they will be implementing a 1:5 reverse stock split on October 19th. This is to avoid being delisted from Nasdaq as they must bring their price up or face delisting next month. This was voted upon last year by stockholders as a last resort before delisting. They had announced it today they will be implementing it.

Dow touched 10,000

The DOW jumped up and saw 10,001 today. This is the highest the DOW has been this year. JP Morgan Chase (JPM) had released much higher then expected earnings and Intel(INTC) had impressive earnings as well which is to thank for the nice climb up today.

Generex to hold conference call

Generex (GNBT) is holding a conference call Thursday October 15th at 11:00 am EST to update inestors on their drug Oral-lyn and other corporate activities. I am expecting their price to go up on the news but do not guarantee it. I think Oral-lyn will be a big drug once released. It was given the ok for IND by the FDA last month but once approved for release it should be an effective drug to treat diabetes.

It has been a while since I have posted here I know. I have been up in the air with many stocks and recently have been a little disappointed with Cell Therapeutics (CTIC). They have withdrawn the MMA for Opaxio and yes it seems they will be pursuing it more for ovarian cancer however I think it is very odd that they didn't try to figure which was the best thing Opaxio was good for before submitting a MMA. I also started having my doubts since Pixantrone was not granted priority review.

Hythiam (HYTM) is a company I am expecting to see a gain in the near future. They have a good treatment program and have their 3 year contract with Ford Motor Company (F). I believe there will be more contract announcements in the near future. I do not guarantee a profit on this or any stock personally.

Generex (GNBT) was awarded approval of use of Oral lyn for IND last month. They will be reporting earnings tonight at 6 PM.

Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) is a company that everybody has heard me speak alot about. They were only given standard review by the FDA for the drug Pixantrone however they just released positive data from their phase III follow up. They also will be hearing by October 2nd if their drug Opaxio will be approved for marketing in Europe. The news can actually come any day now. Pixantrone still has great potential to bring this stock up it's just the date is set to April 2010 instead of December 2009. It appears to be a great drug and should do well. For the shorter term though we are waiting on the news about Opaxio.

A stock to keep an eye on

I recently noticed a company Hythiam (HYTM) and it was honestly bought on a spur of the moment day trade to make quick money. However shortly after I bought it the stock went down just a little and then evened out right around where I bought it at. I did start to get a little antsy on this one as they did receive a delisting notice from Nasdaq and had to show them a plan to regain compliance. Well I was hanging in there hoping it would go up enough just to make a profit or well I was even shooting for breaking even. I knew they had great potential but it was a matter of any of their contracts getting signed before being delisted. Today they released a PR stating their contract with Ford Motor Company for the employee substance abuse program. This was what I was looking for! Now they should be able to regain compliance. They have a couple other contracts in the works which I am sure will go through now that Ford entered a contract. We are not talking about a no name business here. Keep your eye on HYTM and do your own research. Investing in any stock is risky and this company is risky as well but I see they have potential now.

Keep an eye on Comstock Homebuildings Inc (CHCI) tomorrow. They were on the move on Friday, at one point they more then doubled and then closed up 30 cents. They are one to keep a lookout for tomorrow. Also Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) should be hearing from the FDA tomorrow about if their priority review was granted for Pixantrone.
Fannie Mae (FNM) was on the move as so was Freddie Mac (FRE.) I would keep an eye on them this week as more housing data comes in this week.

Fannie Mae (FNM) has been on the move yesterday and again today. In pre-market they are up 25%. I recommend checking them out this morning. I also think they will be announcing their dividends soon, I have not heard anything however this is about the time last year that they announced them.
Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) should be receiving their approval for the priority review from the FDA soon. I would be very surprised if they do not receive it.

Here are a couple of stocks that I would like to mention again. Generex Biotechnology (GNBT), Cell Therapeutics (CTIC), Kowabunga Inc (KOW) and Peregrine Pharmaceutical (PPHM). I have talked about these stocks a lot before however now is a good time to keep an eye on them. Generex Biotechnology has a promising product line.
Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) should have the answer to their request for a priority review for their drug Pixantrone by August 24th in which I am sure they will receive priority review as it is a cancer drug.
Kowabunga (KOW) will be releasing their new website and product August 10th. Please note though that the close of business on July 30th will be the last day for them to trade under (KOW). At the open on July 31st the company will be traded under (INUV), the company name will be changing to Inuvo, Inc www.inuvo.com with the launch of their product. There is no need to worry about share certificates with the old company name as they will still be valid.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (PPHM) will present at the Jesup & Lamont 2009 Growth Stock and National Sales Conference on July 30th. The time is at 8:30 am EDT.

Generex Biotechnology (GNBT) has released some good news about their pre-clinical data on a few vaccines including one for cervical cancer and the flu strands. They are definitely a company to keep your eye on. Not to mention they have gone up the last couple of days.
Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) is the other one to keep an eye on. They have been on my watch list for a while now. They should hear from the FDA by late August about if they will be granted the priority review for Pixantrone which would put the drug on the market probably in late December. They also released some good news regarding Brostallicin's anti-tumor effectiveness. They too went up today.
I wish I had seen Human Genome Sciences (HGSI) earlier for everybody. I too missed out on it as I heard about them when they went up $9 in a day.

Lindsey Baum was walking home on June 26th from a friends house but never made it home. Her profile was shown on America's Most Wanted on July 11th. Cell Therapeutics was accepted in Russell Index

Cell Therapeutics has been accepted by the Russell Index. They were added on the 29th of June. This is a great step for them to re-establish themselves as a big corporation. Their stock was once trading at $3000 a share back in 2000 and they traded at $300 a share about 5 years ago. They finished the submission of NDA for Pixantrone in June and requested priority review. This could put it out in the market during the 4th quarter.
Keep these guys on a watch as I think they will be profitable.

They finished submission of the NDA a couple of days ago and requested a priority review, which if granted will put Pixantrone on the market in the fourth quarter of 2009. Monday is when we will find out if they are accepted in the Russell Indexes which will greatly increase their value. Look out for them on Monday!

Keep your eye on Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) in the next couple of weeks. They have made the preliminary list for the Russell 3000 Index and the Russell Global Index. Final decision is on June 26th. I do not guarantee that this will make their stock go up and I do not guarantee they will make the Index however I recommend you keep your eye on them and do your own research on them before investing. Their financials are still a little rocky but they did get some of their note holders to take a deal so they could reduce some of their debt.

I was keeping an eye on this company yesterday and now today they have released some good news this morning. They are now up 61%. The name of the company is Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (PPHM) and they have released information about the clinical data on their drug Cotara. It is a drug used for brain, liver and colon cancer. The numbers were impressive and they will be announcing their clinical data at the Society of Nuclear Medicine Annual Meeting that will be held June 13-18. I recommend checking them out and keeping an eye on them.
However I do not guarantee a profit from investing in the company and you should understand the risks of investing before you do invest in them.

On the move today we have Kowabunga! Inc. (KOW) it has suddenly seen a lot of volume. I would also recommend to keep your eye on Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) still. They see alot of volume each day and released some of the phase III data for Pixantrone recently.

Cell Therapeutics(CTIC) is seeing a lot of pre-market volume. I think they will be seeing an increase today at market's opening. They announced closing an Italian facility to cut down operating costs.
Las Vegas Sands (LVS)is seeing a nice volume and is going up in pre-market. They haven't released any news about it yet however today is their first of two test days to be completed before they open the casino in Bethlehem on Friday May 22.
Generex Biotechnology (GNBT) just started to see some volume in the pre-market and are showing the signs of going up a little today. They have announced news that their oral insulin is available in Lebanon.

I have not seen any pre-market trading on Rexahn Pharmaceuticals (RNN) yet however they have released news about their new depression drugs in a clinical trial.

Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) has a high pre-market volume as well. Las Vegas Sands (LVS) had lost more in the after hours trading last night however it is gaining it back in the pre-market trading this morning.

My Thursday morning hot stocks to keep a watch on include:
Rexahn Pharmaceuticals (RNN) They have 3 Phase II drugs currently. These 3 drugs have the potential to be the best in the class. Keep an eye on these guys within the next couple of days.

Las Vegas Sands (LVS) They dropped down below the $9 mark after news that involved MGM Mirage. However all the casinos dropped yesterday after this news. Now is a good time to look at (LVS) as they are lower and should shortly rebound.

Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) is still hovering in between the $1.20-$1.50 range. They too are one that I would look into and keep your eye on.

Stocks to watch out for are:
Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) as the announcement of Pixantrone being available on a named patient basis in Europe now. I have had these guys on a watch since they were 35 cents and they were last traded on Friday at $1.15. Analysts have the 1 year estimated target at $50.

Generex Biotechnology Corp. (GNBT) as they are starting to move up again as they received regulatory approval to sell Generex Oral-lyn(TM) in Algeria. They were last traded at 48 cents on Friday. Their 1 year estimated target is $6.

Six Flags (SIXF) as they are coming into their time of the year with summer around the corner. Note that they are now at (SIXF) and no longer at (SIX)

Las Vegas Sands (LVS) I know I always have these guys on watch but it is with good reason. They will be opening up the Bethlehem Sands this month. Also Warren Buffet put them in a stock to buy. They were last traded on Friday at $10.50

Citigroup (C) is also on the upward move as well after the government stress test results Thursday afternoon.

Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) has gone up more then 100% in the last couple of days. They are moving right along with the submission of their new drug Pixantrone. This is definitely a stock I have on my watch list.
Citigroup (C) and Fannie Mae (FNM) have been on the upward move also. They are ones to keep your eye on.
The big one in focus for today though is Six Flags (SIXF) note the ticker change as they are no longer on Nasdaq. They have been moving nicely the last couple of days and this is their time of year to be doing good.
Of course Las Vegas Sands (LVS) has also been doing well, I had the feeling on this one for the last few weeks and now is their time to shine as well. Let's not forget that they will be opening the doors to the public on May 22nd in Bethlehem, PA. This of course is pending the results of two tests nights before then.

Generex Bio Technology (GNBT) is a stock I am watching today. Financials fell yesterday with the fear over the swine flu. However the pharmaceutical companies have been rising. It was last traded at $0.55. Yesterday it gained +.28. This is my Tuesday stock I am watching.
Advanta (ADVNA) is on the move again today.
Also Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) is still a stock of my interest. It has been moving up as well.

Stocks start to rebound Tuesday

Ok we had a considerable dive on Monday after Bank of America's earning report was released. However Tuesday we gained some of that back in the financial sector. Citigroup (C) dropped down considerably Monday but has started to bounce back up Tuesday. I am unsure as to exactly how high their stock will go up in the near future however I do see them going up to at least $5. Las Vegas Sands (LVS) is still one that I believe will rise within the next month due to the opening of Sands Bethworks. I am anxious to see the casino at opening which is scheduled for May 22nd 2009 however that is as long as the two test nights go ok. You can find more out about the new casino at www.sandsbethworks.com it is a nice design and given all the extras they are putting in around the casino I think it will be a hit.

Advanta Corp. (ADVNA) had taken a hit on Monday but also started to bounce back on Tuesday. They are one that I believe will see at least $2.50 a share in the near future. They closed at $1.06 a share on Tuesday.

Dendreon (DNDN) is another company that I believe you should check out. This is a company that I wish I got in on earlier, I saw the company when their stock was at their low but did not look too much into the company at that time. Then in one day they jumped up almost $10.

Citigroup earnings report better then expected

Ok Citigroup (C) announced earnings report on Friday. The earnings report was a lot better then what was expected however the stock closed down on Friday. Their stock is in a high demand right now and I believe they will go up a little this week. I would keep an eye on them this week.
I am also still liking ADVNA they have closed up for the past couple of days. During last week they were selling for $0.97 and Friday they closed at $1.37 and after hours trading was $1.45
LVS is still on my watch at least until the new casino opens on May 22nd.
CTIC is another to keep an eye on as they are rolling the NDA (New Drug Application) with the FDA. Pixantrone can have a great effect on the market as well as be an effective drug once released. I believe that they have the potential to go up in price soon.

Earnings reports are good sign

Well the good news is JP Morgan (JPM) and Google (GOOG) had reported their quarter earnings report today. They both had good news for investors! There is definitely a great sign that the banks had hit their bottom and ready to rebound. We are anxiously awaiting Citigroups (C) earnings report tomorrow. I am sure that it will be a good report which will really be a good sign for things to come! Oh yeah General Electric (GE) is the other company who is reporting their earnings tomorrow.
On top of Citigroup another stock that I would recommend you to check out and keep an eye on for Friday is Advanta (ADVNA). They are on the upward move currently. Have a great day and hope for the best tomorrow!

Bank earnings on way

The next couple of days are going to be a little crazy. We have heard from a few companies about their earnings report and we will be hearing from a few more in the next few days. Citigroup (C) will be reporting on April 17th. Goldman Sachs (GS) had a great earnings report and JP Morgan (JPM) will be reporting tomorrow. All around I believe the banks will report good financials-at least these 3 banks. Citigroup is definitely a stock I would keep an eye on, and off the track of financial stocks Las Vegas Sands (LVS) is still a strong stock with excellent potential. It has hit $83 in the last year.
Fannie Mae (FNM) is starting to look stronger again also.

Penny stocks to watch for on Monday

As promised here are some penny stocks that are on the watch for Monday. Of course LVS is my top but that is not a penny stock. I have 3 that I have been watching for a while and though I think CTIC will do well very soon I do not have it on the watch for Monday. Now is a good time to buy it though while it is still $0.38.
The 3 I have on a watch for Monday are:
TMR Meridian Resource Corp, it was last traded at $0.34. I saw an increase in volume in the last couple of days
LEE Lee Enterprises Inc closed at $0.36 but after market the last trade was $0.46. This one has been on the move.
The last one is:
UIS Unisys Corp. it was last traded at $0.78.
Now I do not guarantee any profits on any of these stocks and I recommend you check them out however these are the penny stocks that are on my watch for Monday.

My Stock to watch out for on Monday

LVS (Las Vegas Sands) is a real hot stock. It was at $1.38 not even a month ago and recently started taking off again. It closed Thursday at $4.44. It has been on the move recently. The other thing to notice about LVS is that they will be opening their Bethlehem Casino in a little over a month. This will be a great step for Las Vegas Sands. Also want to note that their stock was selling at $83.07 before the stock market went downhill. This is a stock that I am in on and definitely recommend checking out! However I do not guarantee a profit on any stock I mention on my blog. I will also run a couple lower priced stocks to check out in my next post to check out for Monday for people who are just starting out with investing.

CTIC has great potenetial

CTIC (Cell Therapeutics Inc) has the potential for some nice growth! They have been at about $0.40 for a little while now however they are getting close to releasing their new drug Pixantrone. They satisfied NASDAQ's requirements to continue to trade on NASDAQ and they are in the A rating with analysts.
From reading the latest press releases and looking more into the company, I find them to be a strong buy. They have also had a nice increase in volume.

Short term or long term?

Are you looking to invest short term and make your money or are you looking to invest in the future? I am all about doing both. One company that I think is good for the longer term investing is FNM (Fannie Mae.) It is at a low but within the next couple of years I believe it will see the $30 mark again. Not sure how good for a short term investment though. I got in when it was real low and doubled my money but now it has been at the 70 cents range for a little while. I would recommend it for a longer term investment.

Could SIX peak soon?

One of the companies I have been watching out for is SIX (Six Flags.) They are a company that despite their talk of bankruptcy I think they will go up a little more yet. They are at 27 cents and I have gotten in when they were 16 cents. Now is coming up on the season for six flags to open and reach the peak that they will reach. I am closely watching them however I encourage anybody to research them before buying them. They do have a high buy recommendation.

I have had many ways of earning money including working at home. However most of my money earned has come from the stock market. This blog was designed to share tips and allow others to share tips as well. I would like to see everybody succeed in their quest to earn more money. I have been researching a lot of companies in this bad economy and have found a lot of them are at their low. Their is a lot of growth to be had in many companies, now is the time to invest! If you are new to investing please do some research before jumping in, there is a lot to learn but yet it is also simple at the same time. Do not think you cannot grasp the concept of investing just you need to know some of the basics.
I will discuss different companies and I encourage others to share ideas as well however do not think that just because a company is discussed here that it is going to guarantee a profit. I do not make any claims that you will definitely make money on a particular stock, the stock market is a gamble and does have the potential for loss as well as gains.
